GWork
Built for the trades

The phone rings while you are on a ladder.

That call was a job, and by tonight you will have forgotten the number. G-Work is a set of small tools that catch the things a working day drops: the missed call, the estimate she wanted before you left the driveway, the order you have to price twice, the invoice nobody has paid. Turn on the ones you need, flat monthly, and leave the rest off.

A Tuesday

Here is a day with it

  1. 10:40

The phone goes while you are on a ladder

You let it ring. At lunch you type the number and 'bath remodel quote' into Missed-Call Capture, and it hands you the text to send back. That caller is now a lead in your customer list instead of a voicemail you will forget by Thursday.

  2. 2:15

You are standing in her kitchen

Three windows, a patio door, tear out the tub surround. You add four lines on your phone and she has a real number before you are back in the truck. Nobody else has called her back yet.

  3. 4:30

The drywall on Camino has to be ordered

You give the estimator your wall and ceiling square footage and your board size, and it works out the sheets, the tape, the mud and the screws. Every line shows its own math, so when the yard questions the mud count you can read them the number it came from.

  4. 6:50

Three invoices are still sitting out

AR Nudges already knows which ones and how long. It writes the reminder, and the tone gets firmer the longer they have been ignoring you. You are not the one deciding how blunt to be at ten to seven.

None of that needed an office, an assistant, or an hour at the kitchen table after dinner. Signing up takes your business name and an email. Your first 2 tools are free, and anything you turn on can be turned back off.

What a day with it looks like

One login for the shop. One bill you can explain.

Every tool is a flat monthly price between $29 and $99. Not per user, not per call, not per estimate. Nothing runs a meter in the background while you work, so the bill is the same whether you had a quiet week or the best one all year.

Your crew are seats on the same account, at no extra charge. Turn a tool on when you need it and off when you do not, and the bill follows the same month.

The tools also feed each other rather than sitting in their own boxes. A missed call becomes a lead in your customer list on its own. Save a bid against that customer and they move to quoted. You are not retyping the same person into four different screens.

No surprises

What is not finished yet

Most software sites hide this page. Here it is up front, because you finding a gap after you have paid is worse for both of us than you reading about it now.

Read the full FAQ
  • Billing is not self-serve yet. There is nowhere on this site to enter a card, and no card gets charged. Early accounts are set up by hand.
  • Missed-Call Capture writes the text-back for you but does not send it through your carrier. You copy and send that one.
  • AR & Invoice Nudges can genuinely send the reminder by email, but only once sending is switched on for your account and the customer has an email address in your CRM. Until then it writes the reminder and you send it. The tool tells you which of those happened, every time, rather than reporting a send that did not happen.
  • Contractor Ordering prices and saves an order but has no live connection to a supply yard. You still call it in.
  • Website Manager manages your content for real, but its publish step is simulated because no hosting provider has been connected.

The questions people actually ask

What does it cost?

Each tool is a flat monthly price, and every price is printed on the tool's own page before you sign up for anything. They run from $29 a month at the low end to $99 at the high end.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. There is no term, no minimum commitment, and no cancellation fee. Switch a tool off from your account page and it stops.

Can I turn on just one tool?

Yes, and most shops should. Pick the one thing that is costing you money right now and run it for a month before you add anything else.

How is billing handled right now?

Straight answer: billing is simulated at the moment. There is no payment processor connected to this platform yet, so there is nowhere to enter a card and no card is ever charged. Your account page says exactly that.

Is there a free trial?

Every new business account gets two free tool activations. Turn on two tools and use them fully, with no payment details entered anywhere.

How fast can I actually start?

Minutes. Create an account with your business name, turn on a tool, and use it.

Who is behind this

A real company, run by a real person

G-Work is built and run by Todd Glick through Glick Holdings. It is not a venture-funded platform with a support queue between you and whoever writes the code. If a tool almost does what you need, you email the person who can change it.
